Day 33: Moose Jaw - Regina

km today: 80.2
total km:

Back on the road for what we hoped would be a short day of riding followed by an afternoon of touring Saskatchewan's capital. These plans were dampered by a glorious head/side wind which increased our ERT (estimated riding time) from an optimistic 2 hours into a slow 4 3/4 hours.

We had planned on catching the mounties' daily noon parade and touring the RCMP depot, until we discovered that the daily parades are actually weekdaily and our late arrival only allowed us enough time to check out the depot or check out the camera stores. With Brandon experiencing strong withdrawal symptoms, we went shopping for a camera. We didn't see any of Regina, which some may consider inexcusable, and we aggree, it sucks but the good news is we are back with digicam. So maybe now you will excuse us because the blog will be much more interesting.

Katie & Brandon - the photos are nice (loved the huge truck/tiny cyclists!), but rest assured, it's the prose that keeps me coming back for more blog.
kisses,
