Day 34: Regina - Grenfell

km today: 120.9
total km: 2258.2

Today was strictly business. After our 4 days off in Moose Jaw we decided we couldn’t wait around for a whole day to see the sights of Regina (because the parade is only on weekdays) so we got up bright and early and fought a head wind 64km to Indian Head We devoured a coffee and a couple of sandwhiches and and then set off to Grenfell with the help of a slight tailwind

You’ve probably never heard of Grenwell, and that’s because it’s population of 1000 is condensed into probably a 10x10 block grid. Everyone here seems to be eldery, and almost everything (including the grocery store) is closed on Sunday. Luckily the one Chinese restaurant was open and ready to take our business. At $7.50 for their large dinner combo we just had to treat ourselves to 3 of them.

Highlights of the day:
- having a camera back
- making sure Brandon’s favourite Katie pose doesn’t get rusty
- making use of Hwy 1’s well equipped washroom amenities

- discovering evidence of the bond between Alice Field and Grey’s Anatomy
